Cab, O, Sil ts, 720 treated fumed silica is an elevatedpurity silica which has undergone treatment with a dimethyl silicone fluid. The treatment replaces a variety of surface hydroxyl groups on the fumed silica with a polydimethyl, Siloxane polymer. This treatment makes the silica extremely hydrophobic.
