Pregnancy and babies these two words always bring forth happy memories and pleasant thoughts. Whether a person wishes to they start, Or not thinking of tiny feet and rosy cheeks, Little fingers and toothless smiles. Out goes the floral pictures from the walls of the house, And in come happy baby posters. The happy parents to be start planning on what would make a happy kingdom for their little prince or princess. Every visit to any store needs a mandatory trip to the baby section. Needless to say, The joys of pregnancy are endless. After 6 years of marriage, When we realized we were expecting, Our joy knew no bounds. And the happiness doubled when we came to know that its not one, But two little darlings. My husband and i were like any other expecting couple happy and busy putting our wish list together. The news from the doctor s office that i needed to be on complete bed rest was heart breaking. My mind was flooded with questions, Who would shop for my little ones? will i join in on of deciding what is good and what is not? my children will be too old before i can actually go and buy them something. Will my babies hate me when they know that i did not buy anything for them? and above all, Why me? What acts as the driving force for me to not have the privilege among all these happy times?
