About 1870, when the late Bansidhar Modi established a modest business in Assam after relocating from Rajasthan, the Eden Group's product was The leading real estate firm in Kolkata today, Residential Projects Construction, was founded in the early 1800s under the category of Construction Services. His late son, Late Badridass Modi, was a great businessman who had founded a hardware company initially. He went on to launch a tea company in 1920 after recognizing a chance in the morning sector. He created a number of enterprises and tea fields with success. Over the past 20 years, the Kolkata-based Eden Group has grown to encompass information technology, textile production, and real estate.
