Under the leadership of Mr. Lim Ka Thong, Linton Incorporated (previously Linton Commercial Co., Inc.) was founded in October 1954 as a sole proprietorship. In order to satisfy the expanding construction sector, the firm started by importing flat steel goods, such as hot and cold rolled plates and coils and galvanized sheets. The business grew and expanded its product range in the next years, adding products like pipes, angles, channels, and H-Beams.
