When LLM Appliance Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 1994, Late V. Murugesa Chettiar saw a bright future in stainless steel, back when brass was still regarded as a wonder metal. Thus the pioneer's birth. as well as a group known as A ButterflyA. That was fifty years ago. In addition to being the first in India to manufacture and supply LPG stoves, domestic electric food mixers, and table-top wet grinders with an ISO-9001 Certificate of Registration, the Group was also the first to introduce stainless steel pressure cookers, stainless steel LPG stoves, and unbreakable stainless steel vacuum flasks. Under the visionary guidance of Late V. Murugesa Chettiar (Founder and Chairman) and his five sons, Butterfly has become a household name in India, known to billions of people.
