Shree Lakshmi Narayan Ayurvedic College

Shree lakshmi narayan amritsar have, Ayurvedic college been established by late shri pujya pt. Mayadhari ji shastri. This college is directed by shree durgiana education foundation since 1972. Initially it was running the classes as prescribed by bharat varsheeya ayurved vidyapeeth, Delhi. In 1976 it got affiliated with guru nanak dev university, Amritsar and five years b. A. M. S. Course as prescribed by c. C. I. M.,New delhi have been started. At present it is connected with guru ravidas ayurved university, Hoshiarpur . There are 50 seats in the college for getting admission to b. A. M. S. Ist prof. An ayurvedic hospital & a pharmaacy is attached to this college. College has also the availability of hostel for girls and boys. To provide better facilities of clinical training college has 100 beded hospital having the delivery room, Panchkarma unit, Pathology labs etc, Facilities of operation theater. Read more our students are very much disciplined, Hard worker & have got good intellectual power, For this reason they are getting good positions in university results. Our graduatees are serving patients in urban along with rural areas & getting full honour in the society. In addition to this thay have been selected for m. D. Ay. & other p. G. Courses beyond just in reputed institutes of ayurveda in india but also in university of abroad.
