High quality Coconut Tiles For Your Home
A proprietary processing technique is used to create these Tiles from hard Coconut Shells. The shells have a high resilience to rotting and insect assault because they contain around 50% lignin, a naturally occurring vegetable compound.
How do you make Coco Tiles?
Paver Tiles samples with a percentage rate of 3%, 5%, and 10% set, utilizing Coconut Shells as the coarse aggregate. Subsequently, the ingredients are mixed at the specified rates. Before adding the crushed Coconut Shell to the mixture to make floor Tiles, it is allowed to dry completely.
Advantage of Coconut Tiles:
Coco Tiles: Eco-Friendly Decreased trash, By removing abandoned agricultural Coconut shells from the trash stream, coco Tiles reduce waste. Coconut Shells that are thrown away are typically burned or placed in the trash pile. With Coco Tiles, they become a functional and attractive product.
What purpose does Coconut Fiber Serve?
The food industry uses Coconut fiber, a dietary supplement, as an emulsifier, stabilizer, and thickening agent. It can be applied to enhance the consistency and texture of food items, including sauces, dressings, and baked goods.
Fabrication Guidelines for Coco Tiles:
The distinctive handmade Coconut Tiles are supported by 9mm of sustainably harvested wood (FSC certification pending). It is important to adhere to standard wood Tiles-setting criteria, which include correct installation and conditioning.
Conditioning: Before installation, Coconut Tiles need to be conditioned for at least 72 hours. This will enable the Tiles to adapt to the local humidity and ambient temperature.
Installation: If your local building codes allow it, you can lay Coco Tiles directly over studs or furring strips that serve as framing members. Nails and panel adhesive can be used to install any type of Coco Tiles.
Cutting: Conventional Tiles saws can be used to cut Coco Tiles. We advise using a high-quality blade with fine teeth and a blade speed of at least 4000 rpm. Avoid using water as this could result in the wood backer bulging. There may be chipping around the cut edge; these can be fixed with regular woodworking adhesive. Cutting is advised in between the chips.
